Source Interlink Media today announced the promotion of Shane Buettner to Editor-in-Chief, Home Theater Magazine, replacing Maureen Jenson who left the company. Buettner began his career with Source Interlink Media's High Tech Group in 2005 as Buyer's Guide Editor for UltimateAVmag.com and HomeTheaterMag.com. He became online editor for those properties in January 2007 and directed their editorial strategy.

I recently was lucky enough to have a tour of the Bowers &Wilkins (B&W) Loudspeaker factory in Worthing, England. The full story, and loads more pictures will be published in the February issue of Home Theater Magazine (out mid-Jan), but I couldn't wait until then to show you at least a couple of images of how undeniably cool and painstakingly precise the loudspeaker build process is. . .
