ZVOX 315 Sound Console Amplified Audio System HT Labs Measures
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Zvox 315 main speaker (purple trace) and built-in subwoofer (blue trace). The 315 was measured at a distance of 1 meter with a 0.25-volt input to the left channel and scaled for display purposes. The Phase Cue control was set to minimum.
The 315's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/-15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +7.27/-4.35 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and +/-15-degree horizontal responses measures +7.31/-4.48 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The -3dB point is at 166 Hz, and the -6dB point is at 152 Hz.
The subwoofer's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower -3dB point is at 67 Hz and the -6dB point is at 63 Hz. The upper -3dB point is at 92 Hz.-MJP
