Sony KDL-52XBR7

The new XBR7 line is all over the map feature-wise from one model to the next. Of most interest to me was the KDL-52XBR7, the world's first LCD TV with 240Hz operation and frame interpolation. Is it twice as good as 120Hz? We'll see when I get one for review.

I'd be interested in getting an LCD at least 52" with 240Hz and LED back lighting. Oh, before I pull my credit card out, it'll have to pass an Ultimate AV review first.

I saw this in action at the Sony Showroom in Tokyo a few weeks back. It was simply incredible. Granted, the side-by-side comparison material was carefully selected to give a worst case scenario on the 60Hz model, but you could still see that the motion on the 240Hz one was smooth beyond belief. It was the only item in the showroom that really blew me away.
