The new Snell CR70 center speaker ($1750) was so inconspicuously displayed that I nearly missed it. It is said to be a good sonic match for the Snell CR70 floorstanders ($6500/pair). New center channel speakers—hopefully proper three-way designs like this one—are expected next year for other Snell models.

Yes, that is a nice center channel. It is very similar to the Triad Gold LCR, except Snell doesnt over a left and right that matches. The drivers in this model are not exactly like the ones in the C7 floor standers. I wish Snell would make matching LCR's for the CR70 with optional stands like you see with the Triad LCR Gold or the ones that come with the Atlantic Technology 6200e. My next speaker package will be sealed enclosures like this design. No ports.
