While the other JVC products are practically here, their demo of 3D technology, based on some funky glasses and a pair of their 4K projectors (4096 x 2160 pixels), was, what's the term, oh yeah, universe shattering!

The demo material took massive computer resources from the NCSA and a gaggle of squints from Harvard to put it together, but nothing like watching two star nebula colliding in a hyper-time lapsed simulation. Another demo piece, a vector array simulation of a tornado with arrow-headed pipes curving hither and representing the wind and circular balls bubbling at the vortex (said balls representing terrified cows one would presume).

Sometimes it's just great to see what is possible. Definitely the most impressive thing I've seen a long time.
