The entire time I was building this storage area, I wasn't sure how I was going to keep it ventilated. I also wasn't sure how I was going to access things like my cable box or my PS3.

Rather than venting the front, I decided to make a well vented lid. Most electronics would be fine without, but the PS3 and surprisingly the Apple TV produce a lot of heat.

Even though the picture of the unfinished lid has plenty of holes, I my actually add computer fans to it to help push the hot air out. It may actually help my heating bill in the winter.
