Oh yeah, other than that oddly uncomfortable beach volleyball scene and the Kenny Loggins music, we all love Top Gun.

Thanks to ScreenUsed you can decorate your home (yikes!) or home theater with the very helmet that the diminutive Maverick himself actually wore and sweated in during filming!

That's not the original helmet and mask... The mask amp is the wrong period for starters. The helmet art doesnn't display the damage it has in the movie - it's mint looking. it's a flightsuits.com replica. Gibbson and Barnes.

The original helmet was destroyed in a fire. It was on display at the corner of Kettner Blvd and W. Harbor Drive in San Diego at the "Kansas City BBQ" where the jukebox scene was filmed. On Jun e 26, 2008 Kansas City BBQ suffered a grease fire that destroyed the establishment, including all of the Top Gun memorabilia on display.
