You should post your home theater on www.htnuts.com
The wall that houses the electric 120 inch screen I built 2.5 feet out from the basements foundation wall. This allows me access to all the electrical components and gives me extra storage. I built a rack two inches off the floor to keep the components away from any water that may creep into my basement. I took great steps at waterproofing the basement before ever thinking of starting construction. My equipment consist of a Denon 5805 receiver, BW 600 series speakers, Panasonic AE700U projector, and a home built HTPC which has over 2 terabytes of hard drive space and growing. I will post my HTPC design at a later time, I will tell you this is the future of home theater. I have it networked through out my house so you can view DVDs, pictures, songs, etc on every TV in the house. An upconverted DVD played through the projector or a true HD show from my Dish player look better than any cinema I have been in to date. All this took me approximatley 6 months and I did it all myself with no help. I would suggest if you are going to do something like this dont be stuborn like I was. If people say they will help you, let them.
