FineLine LCR-21 On-Wall Speaker System HT Labs Measures
HT Labs Measures
Satellite Sensitivity: 87 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (corrected for on-wall boundary gain and employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the LCR-21 satellite (purple trace). The passive loudspeaker was measured with grille at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input.
The LCR-21’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +4.33/–3.61 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. When used vertically, an average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +5.00/–2.85 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. When used horizontally, an average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +3.96/–4.11 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 109 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 94 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.87 ohms at 7.1 kHz and a phase angle of –35.75 degrees at 2.9 kHz.—MJP
