I auditioned the Martin Logans before I built my HT and they sounded really good. I was most impressed with how clean the Depth and the Descent Subwoofers were. Probably one of the best sounding subwoofers I have ever heard and I have tested almost all of the ones you could probably name. Made SVS and HSU subs sound archaic. I hope you get one because it would really go well with your planars. My only criticism of the ML's was that they were extremely directional and this did not suite my needs for music and HT sound.
