The number of adults who intend to buy one or more audio components has risen to 39 percent, versus 35 percent a year back.
Consumers were most interested in speakers. The runner up was the surround receiver and pre-pro category, then amplifiers.
What are their motivations? Desire for audio quality, replacing an older component, and improving surround for movies and TV.
