This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Intimus 4T L/R (purple trace) and Bravus 8A subwoofer (blue trace). The L/R wireless loudspeaker was measured with a grille at a distance of 1 meter. Due to the lack of a multichannel analog input, the other channels could not be measured.

The Intimus 4T’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +2.01/–3.04 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 102 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 82 Hz.

The Bravus 8A’s close-miked response, normalized to the level at 40 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 28 Hz and the –6-B point is at 26 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 78 Hz.—MJP
